STUDIO Policy

Location: Amplified Essence Studio, Dallas, Texas
By booking or entering Amplified Essence (“Studio”), you (“Renter,” “Guest,” or “Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions:
 
1. Booking & Payment

• All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.
   

• Reservations are not confirmed until full payment is received.
   

• Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day or last-minute bookings require direct confirmation via email or phone.
   

• The Studio operates by appointment only. No walk-ins are permitted.
   

• Studio hours are 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Use of the studio outside these hours requires prior written approval. Booking requests outside these hours must be made via direct contact by calling 763-954-0089 or emailing hello@amplifiedessence.com 
   

• The maximum base group size is 10 people. You can add more attendees, up to 20 total people, at a rate of $10 per additional person, per booking. For Groups exceeding 30 people, please email us to discuss your booking needs and our event rates.
   

• Studio rental does not include photography services. Clients have two options:
  • Request a Preferred Photographer/Videographer List from Amplified Essence.
  • Bring their own photographer.

 
2. Hourly Rental Policies

• Rate: $100/hour (plus applicable taxes).
   

• Overtime: Sessions must end and guests must vacate the studio at the scheduled end time. Overtime will be charged at $10 per minute past the scheduled end time. This is strictly enforced to maintain fairness for subsequent bookings. To extend your time, call 763-954-0089 to inquire about availability.
   

• Standard Cleaning Fee: $150 will be charged if the studio is left in an excessively dirty condition, including but not limited to trash left behind, food or drink spills, or props/furniture not reset to original condition. We recommend taking a video upon arrival for reference when resetting the space.
   

• Prohibited Substances Fee: The use of glitter, paint, body oils, or any prohibited substances is strictly forbidden. If used, the renter will incur an additional cleaning/repainting fee starting at $150, with the final amount determined by the extent of damage (up to full replacement costs).

 
3. Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellations 30+ days before booking: Full refund, minus processing fees.
   

• Cancellations 7–29 days before booking: 50% refund, minus processing fees.
   

• Cancellations under 7 days before booking: No refund.
   

• Processing fees (charged by Stripe, PayPal, or other payment processors) are non-refundable.
   

• Unused time within a reservation is not credited or refunded.
   

 
4. Rescheduling

• Reservations may be rescheduled with at least 72 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
   

• Reschedule requests made within 72 hours of the booking will be treated as a cancellation, and the standard refund rules will apply.
   

• Each booking may only be rescheduled once.
   

• Additional reschedule requests will result in a $50 administrative fee.
   

• Failure to attend or arriving more than 30 minutes late without notice will be treated as a forfeiture with no refund or credit.
   

 
5. Memberships

• Membership fees are billed automatically each month until canceled by the member.
   

• Membership cancellations must occur before the next billing cycle to avoid additional charges.
   

• Mid-cycle cancellations are non-refundable; benefits remain active until the end of the billing period.
   

• Members receive priority booking and discounted workshop pricing.
   

 
6. Workshops

• Non-Members: $2,000 per quarter
   

• Members: $1,500 per quarter
   

• Each workshop series includes six (6) bi-weekly sessions per quarter.
   

• Missed sessions can be made up via Zoom or provided recordings.
   

Workshop Cancellations:

• 2+ weeks before start date: Full refund, minus processing fees.
   

• Within 2 weeks of start date: 50% refund, minus processing fees.
   

• Once the cohort begins: No refunds will be issued (recordings available).
   

 
7. Group Size

• Base rental includes up to 10 people.
   

• Additional attendees may be added, up to a maximum of 20 total, at $10 per person.
   

• Groups larger than 20 require written approval and may be subject to event rental rates.
   

 
8. Equipment & Furniture

• Basic studio lighting and stands are included with rentals.
   

• Additional equipment may be available for a rental fee.
   

• Guests may not trim or cut seamless paper without prior studio approval. Excessive damage to seamless paper may require full replacement at the guest’s expense.
   

• While Amplified Essence provides a variety of furniture, props, and equipment as shown in photos or video tours, specific items are not guaranteed to be available at the time of your booking. Items may be temporarily removed, replaced, or under maintenance without prior notice. If a particular item is critical to your shoot, please confirm availability with the studio in advance.
   

• Renters are fully responsible for returning all equipment and furniture in good condition. Damaged or missing equipment/furnishings will be charged at full replacement cost. Fees related to overtime, damages and cleaning are charged to the card on file at the conclusion of the reservation.

 
 
9. Prohibited Uses
The following are strictly prohibited without prior written approval:

• Glitter, paint, body oils, or other staining substances
   

• Fire, pyrotechnics, smoke/fog machines, artificial snow, or similar effects
   

• Illegal substances or activities
   

• Animals without prior approval (see Animal Policy below)
   

• Indoor drone use without prior approval as these can mess with fire sprinklers
   

• Pornographic photographing or recording is not allowed. Everyone must remain dressed at all times as no nudity is allowed. Boudoir photoshoots are allowed in a tasteful manner. All clients for boudoir shoots must be at least 18 years old. 

Violations may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund and additional fines starting at $250.
 
10. Animal Policy

• Domestic pets may be permitted with management approval.
   

• Fees: $50 non-refundable fee + $150 refundable deposit.
   

• Animals must remain crated or leashed unless actively used in production.
   

• Renter assumes full responsibility for damages, injuries, or additional cleaning caused by animals.
   

• Service animals are permitted by law without fee. Please give us advanced written notice, so we can ensure any hair is cleaned up before the next booking.
   

 
11. Safety, Security & Liability

• The Studio maintains security cameras in non-private areas for safety and insurance purposes. By entering, you consent to monitoring and recording. As a renter, you and your party agrees that Amplified Essence may conduct video surveillance of any portion of its premises at any time, the only exception being private dressing room area provided, and that video cameras will be positioned in appropriate places within and around the building and used in order to help promote the safety and security of people and property.
   

• Renter is responsible for ensuring safe use of props, equipment, and furnishings.

  • Property Terms - Renter agrees to maintain the premises, furniture and all equipment within the premises in as good a condition as they were at the beginning of the term. They agree to dispose of all trash in the provided trash cans and clean up any messes that occur during their rental period. If the studio is not left in good condition (i.e. trash thrown away, props placed back in original locations, and messes cleaned up) and/or the Renter is late leaving the premises, they will be charged a minimum fee of $150. 
     

  • Renter will be liable for any physical damages, legal actions, and/or loss of reputation or business opportunities that Owner may incur as a consequence of the actions of Renter or any of Renter’s guests while Renter is in control of the premises and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Owner against any and all legal actions which may arise from Renter’s use of the premises.
     

• Amplified Essence Studio is not liable for injuries, theft, or damages incurred during the rental.

  • Liability Terms- This agreement releases Owner from all liability relating to physical injuries and/or injury to Renter’s equipment that may occur during any future rental period agreed upon between Owner and Renter. Renter agrees to hold Owner entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.
     

• Renter assumes all risk and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Amplified Essence Studio, its owners, and agents against any claims, damages, or losses arising from use of the premises.
   

• Text Messaging: By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from The TX Studio. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. We respect your privacy and assure you that your mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. 12. Power, HVAC & Utilities

• In the event of a power outage, HVAC failure, or equipment malfunction that prevents use of the studio, the renter may reschedule or receive a credit for lost time. *Please note: Our AC is scheduled to run from 7am-7pm Monday-Friday, 7am-1pm on Saturdays. All outside days and times, we cannot guarantee the AC will be on. Please plan accordingly or request the AC be turned on for your booking with 72 hours prior notice.
   

• Issues with personal equipment (cameras, laptops, etc.) are not grounds for refunds or credits.
   

 
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in Dallas County, Texas.
